CHECKS BEFORE DISPATCH
Link a task to a sales order and enable Blocks Shipping. No dispatch on that order can ship while the task remains open.
Use this for an outstanding document, customer confirmation or internal check. Closing the task or removing its shipping block releases the control; a cancelled task also counts as closed.
Enable tasks for chase dates and expected award dates. Assign them to the salesperson or account manager and choose how far ahead an award reminder is due.
When a quote date changes, its automated task moves too. Marking the quote won or lost closes the associated task as cancelled.
Restrict a private task to its owner and assigned users. Private shipping-blocking tasks show other users the owner but not the task text.
