A FEW PRACTICAL QUESTIONS
Yes. Onboarding and training sessions take place by video call and screen sharing. The agenda is agreed around your setup, processes and the parts of Omono your team needs to use.
You can discuss focused training for new colleagues, refresher sessions or help with a particular area such as sales orders, stock, purchasing or workflow. The topics, session scope and any cost are agreed before booking.
Yes. Many system-wide dropdown lists are customisable through the app settings. You can also configure areas such as workflow stages, warehouses, divisions and analysis codes, helping your team use choices that reflect your business.
Omono supports Excel and CSV import templates for companies, contacts, addresses, stock, stock suppliers, assemblies and bills of materials. Moving from spreadsheets starts with checking and preparing those records against the relevant templates.
The supported templates define the records and fields available for import. Compare your existing system’s exports with those templates, then agree what can move across. Historical transactions and specialist records need a separate review rather than assuming a complete system transfer.
The timetable depends on the condition of your data, the processes being configured and your team’s availability. Agree the import scope, responsibilities and checks first, then plan a realistic starting date around that work.
Choose representative customer orders and stock records to check in the new system, identify who owns data preparation and involve the people who will use Omono each day. Agree familiarisation and support needs as part of the setup plan.
Organise branches, regions or brands with division-specific document headers and reporting filters. Divisions sit within your Omono organisation.
Work in multiple currencies and record EORI numbers, incoterms, commodity codes and country of origin for relevant paperwork. Exchange rates are maintained by an administrator.
Configure users and operator roles. Administrators can require two-factor authentication across the organisation and manage trusted devices.
