A FEW PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

Good to know.

Can Omono manage assemblies and bills of materials as well as standard stock?

Yes. Omono manages standard stock items and assemblies, including bills of materials that define assembly components. Your team can maintain this information alongside stock and purchasing records.

How does Omono connect stock control and purchase order management?

Omono brings stock records, supplier information and purchase orders together. You can review quantities on hand, stock allocated to customer orders and incoming purchases, then follow expected deliveries and outstanding quantities.

What is the difference between stock on hand and stock available to sell?

Stock on hand is the quantity held; some of it may already be committed to customer orders. Omono shows stock quantities alongside allocations and incoming purchase orders, giving you the information to assess availability before making a delivery commitment.

Can I organise inventory by warehouse and location?

Omono stock records include warehouse and location fields, and the stock view supports warehouse filtering. This helps your team find and review items by where they are held.

Can I split a purchase order across several supplier deliveries?

Yes. A purchase order can have separate deliveries with their own dates, items and quantities. Track receipt status and review delivered and outstanding quantities on the order. Supplier call-off orders also support deliveries called off over time.

Can I raise purchase orders from stock shortages?

Yes. Raise linked purchase orders from a sales order, or create draft orders from Reorder Suggestions. Linked purchasing groups requirements by supplier and can use your customer’s delivery address for drop shipping. Review existing incoming purchases before creating additional linked orders.
